The magazine “Rolling Stone” reports that the ABBA exhibition “Super Troupers: The Exhibition” will open on 6 December in the O2 Arena on the Thames on an amazing 1,300 square metres. On display are memorabilia, costumes, instruments, handwritten lyrics and much more. According to the organisers, the show will be “big and brave” and will be dedicated to every ABBA member. One focus will be on ABBA’s 1974 Eurovision appearance in Brighton, UK. (Little anecdote: The British jury member gave zero points for “Waterloo” at that time 😊At the end of the exhibition it’s “Thank You For The Music” and visitors can sing along to ABBA’s hits and dance to them. We from ABBA GOLD – The Concert Show love it! The ABBA team was excited, how seriously we took their story,” the artistic director Jude Kelly told the “Guardian”. “They asked me how I would approach it if it could take place in a much larger space. Oh no, we’re sharpening our ears right now: Even bigger? Even more beautiful? Come to Germany? That would be so great – And the two new ABBA songs directly to sing along, please – oh yes! We can hardly wait and finally want to hear them!
“Super Troupers: The Exhibition” From 06 December 2019 to 20 August 2020, O2, Tickets almost 30 euros.
